Guide to the Spectrum Management System for ISED Wireless Certification
ISED’s modernization of the Spectrum Management System was originally introduced to streamline filings associated with RSP‑100. These changes improved the efficiency of certification submissions and Canadian Representative filings.
Importantly, while portals and account management tools continue to evolve, the requirement to appoint and maintain a Canadian Representative for applicants located outside Canada remains unchanged under RSP‑100 §4.1. Applicants must ensure that their representative’s details are up‑to‑date and consistent with certificate records and the Radio Equipment List (R2EL).
Always use the current RSP‑100 forms, including the Application and Agreement for Certification Services (Annex A), and monitor ISED communications for administrative updates to the portal.
